BISHOP'S STORTFORD, 2020 - When we first went into lockdown to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus and I realised that photography would have to take a back-seat for a while, I spent time re-organising and revising my old photographs, refreshing my Instagram feed and setting up this new website.

Once restrictions started to lift, I took the opportunity to start taking my camera with me when I was out, to capture some of what life in the time immediately following lockdown was like in the area.

Below is a collection of some of these images. I wanted to work on post-processing techniques and establishing a consistent tone / look & feel in the images, and in this case in particular thought that it would be suitable to try for a matt, slighted faded look, to convey the sense of muted activity present at the time.
